Hi Mark,
Have just had a chance to look at your tree - there is a connection point with the Cowards and Ironsides through James Coward 1826, one of whose daughters, Agnes, married Charles Ironside. The Ironsides are connected with the Strode famiy whose lineage is traceable back to 1020.
